I’ve never been to a dinner theater show. How does it work?
Dillstar Productions interactive dinner theater shows are a lot of fun. The night begins with an opening scene that lasts roughly 30 minutes before dinner. Then dinner is served for 45 minutes, with the show resuming shortly there after. The shows end up lasting about 2 1/2 to 3 hours total including dinner. The night is filled with singing, dancing (interactive guest dancing songs as well), eating, and drinking. The crowd is always engaged with whats going on, and there is never a dull moment!
What does the ticket include?
A dinner theater admission ticket includes: a dinner with your choice of 3 entrees, fresh salad, warm bread, dessert, free refills on iced tea and soda (when beverage is purchased) and coffee after dinner. There is a bar for those who desire to purchase cocktails.
Are your venues wheelchair accessible?
Yes, Dillstar makes sure all show venues are wheelchair accessible.
Do I have to participate in the show?
No, you do not have to participate in the show. There are times where the crowd can hit the dance floor with the cast and join in on the fun, but this is not required. The cast will also mingle with the audience at times, but there is not obligation for participation.
What is the minimum age?
Due to the interactive and somewhat unpredictable nature of our shows, children under 15 are not permitted, and adult supervision is required.
How far in advance do I need to make reservations?
Our public shows do occasionally sell out, therefore reservations are recommended. Most people make reservations from 1 week to 1 month in advance. You can make reservations through this website or by calling our box office at 800-944-5639. Tickets will also be sold at the door in the event the shows are not sold out.
Is it fun?
Yes! Interactive dinner theater is very fun. The crowd gets quite involved with the show. As a show attendee you have the choice of participating in dances and songs, as well as various skits. The performers love to keep the crowd going, they always show them a good time!
How does the seating work?
Everyone has assigned seats at 9 to 10 person banquet tables. If your party is larger than 10, then we ask you to let us know how you would like us to divide up your party, or else we will divide you up evenly and seat your two parties next to each other.
How do I know if I’ve purchased “good” seats?
Since there is no set stage and the action happens all around you, all of our seats are center stage! Our performers make an effort to ensure all guests are equally involved and engaged in the theater experience.
What time does the show start & what time should I arrive?
All our shows start at different times. Most do start around 7-7:30. Check your ticket, reservation, or listing on the website to see your specific start time. We ask the guests arrive about 30 minutes before the start of the show.
How long is the show?
About 2 hours long.
Where do I park?
All our venues have ample parking in lots adjacent to the venue itself. We will notify guests on the website if paid parking is necessary.
What is the dress code?
Dressy casual is required. No shorts, baseball caps, or torn clothes are permissible.
What do I need to bring?
Your ticket confirmation page and identification are needed to get you in. Only the main ticket orderer has to bring ID to confirm tickets.
What is your refund/cancellation policy?
Just like any other theater or dinner show, all sales are final. Due to the limited seating capacity and our fixed costs with the venues, we are unable to refund money once reservations have been made.
Is it good for birthdays, anniversaries, dates and special occasions?
Absolutely! We specialize in celebrations and special occasions. We are always having couples join us along with families, friends, co-workers and acquaintances. Since the evening involves singing, dancing, eating, and drinking it’s the perfect all in one event for any special occasion!
